Cheap works clothes

Am going back to work on the 8th September and none of my old works clothes fit and apparently I can't wear jeans anymore :( (no idea why as I wear PPE over them)

Where can I get some cheap but ok looking clothes?? Can't afford to spend a lot as I am at the tail end of maternity leave.

It has to be smart/casual I have no idea what that means either!

Tesco is best supermarket at the mo for clothes.

M&S do work trousers in a variety of styles - the modern slim fit is ok

If you have a Banana Republic look in the sale (on at the moment). The cut and quality is really good, and I find much better discounts in store compared with online.

If you have to wear PPE I would just buy some smart black trousers and some long sleeve tops in various colours and neck lines , long sleeves can be pushed to the elbow depending on the task. I also wear a white vest just to break it up a bit at the waist line , and a chunky necklace with a bit of sparkle can be a conversation starter with the people I help.

I'd suggest having a look in Sainsbury and New Look. I've had a few bits and bobs from here at very reasonable prices. Sainsbury usually have a range by Gok Wan, which has produced a few gems for my work wardrobe.

Gok Wan at Satansbusy does have a few gems.
