Looking for a bag like this

I've really fallen for this bag. It's everything about it, the size, the slight slouchy casual style and I LOVE the front flap organisation. The only thing I don't love is the price. I actually really love the snake print one.

I've seen this one but there's no interior photo.

I need one to be a decent size as DD is 12 months and I'm generally carrying stuff for her around. Budget is around £100 but would stretch to £200 if I LOVED it. Can anyone help?

Hmmm - I don't have one, but think that anya hindmarch bag is hard to beat! I think they do sometimes go into the sale but still around £400 - 500.

John Lewis have something similar.

or this - might be too small.

something different

off piste but I think this would make a good nappy bag.

THe French connection one is plastic. Like the jL ones. I have a jasper conran for debs (I know!) in a similar style but can't see it online

Thanks mrpoo. I actually have that mint velvet one pinned to my Pinterest board. It puts me off when there are no interior photos and there's no shop near me.

I don't need the bag to be too big as I generally have DDs actual nappy bag in the cat so just need it for toy, muslin, sippy cup type stuff.

ceecee was it recently you got that bag? We only have a small debenhams and I haven't seen anything recently.

Oof, I love that Marc Jacobs bag, Shia! Tres flipping gorgeous. And in relation to the AH, not a bad price ;)

I love my DKNYs, but wouldn't put any of my toddler-daughter's food and drink anywhere near it! Ducky just about pops in, so that we don't lose him, but he's frequently in the washing machine - buy the bag because you love it, and keep DDs drinks in a Kipling-esque (equally yummy, and they can pop in the wash, according to my MIL) bag.

Sorry sorry Sorry Mrpop not Mrpoo!!!!!

I like those Whistles bags but while they're beautiful none are jumping out at me. Also above budget (I'm in ROI - £200 is €250 and really is the max)

I like that Marc jacobs but think it looks a bit small.

Sorry - I'm incredibly awkward. I think I might just have to start saving for an actual anya Hindmarch.

If you wait until the new year you will get that Anya Hindmarch for a fraction of the price. Her sales are very good but the bag will be on Net a Porter for a steal but you have to be vigilant and check every day as they go in a flash when dramatically reduced.

Helgathehairy · 22/08/2014 10:46

I could definitely wait till the new year.

£795.00 for a bag. You'd get one bot much different from primark.

Dontgotosleep · 22/08/2014 11:11

Not I mean.

Greengardenpixie · 22/08/2014 11:20

I know its different but i have this bag and i love it!!

It is lovely and bit, slouchy, it has inner compartments for phone etc and an outer one. You can wear it across the body, you can take the strap off and have it as a shoulder bag. Its fantastic. I have it in the tan colour, i didnt know they did it in the black...i could be tempted to buy another. I love it! The only thing that bugs me is that it isnt leather but its beautifully made.

Greengardenpixie · 22/08/2014 11:25

I really like the FCUK alma bag...its gorgeous! You may be able to google it to see what its like inside!

Shia · 22/08/2014 11:43

Example of Primark bag

msbeauty9.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/primark-bag.html

Ok, you'd save £788.00 but the bag will not last as long and will not look and feel as luxurious as the Anya Hindmarch one.

However, for those that do not want to or are unable to spend a lot of money then then Primark bag is fav.

For those that have the money then they can enjoy spending a lot more.

Shia · 22/08/2014 11:44

I like the FCUK and the Fiorelli ones, both very nice and great prices.

Helgathehairy · 22/08/2014 12:08

I've got plenty of cheap bags. Before this the most I spent was €120 and that bag has lasted almost 5 years (although I mostly just use it in the summer). I don't see anything wrong with treating myself if I have the money though.
