winter boots

Can anyone recommend any children's wellies or boots that are both warm and waterproof. My boys seem to destroy cheap wellies and spent most of last winter with cold, wet feet. Thanks

I recommend a snow-type boot. Rubber like a wellie but with a better sole and some furry lining. They last and last....I got some from our local indie shoe shop last year....a bit like this but mine are made of a lighter rubber with more of a sole...but the ones in the link look quite good.

Thanks. They look good. we've had snow boots before but the rubber bit never comes up high enough to deal with slush and puddles.
