Boden Child Sizes

Not sure this is exactly S&B but thought you might know the answer!

What is Boden sizing like for the kids stuff? I have a long thin toddler who climbs...... so dress being shortish not a problem/ ideal but if the fit is also neat I'd buy the size she's about to grow into rather than the size she is now and probably take it up if you see what I mean...

Any advice?

I find them small

MrsPnut · 20/08/2014 07:08

Sometimes it's too big and sometimes it's too small, not helpful I know but I find them great when it comes to returns.

Try joining the boden resale group on Facebook too, second hand is cheaper but still great quality.

Thanks, this is what I had feared! It has been a while for Boden and me but just can't resist this dress!!

Always size up in mini Boden.

Size up in boden, I find that the sizes suit the slimmer taller child and sizing up does not look ridiculous. Returns are very quick.

Going against the grain, I find Mini Boden very generous but my DDs are smaller than average. DD1 has just turned 8 and 5-6 fits her perfectly in tops and dresses.

JRsandCoffee · 20/08/2014 11:21

Hmmm, I think I will run with her actual size as she is such a skinny!! Thank you everyone!

Dd is skinny but we still size up. Always used to be generous but past year or so (3 seasons maybe) the clothing in mini Boden is coming up very small.

Dd has shirts from next in an age 7 that are still pulled in at the waist with the adjustable elastic but Boden ones from this summer the age10 just fit. No real growing room and no need to adjust them yet we've also brought from next joules and frugi and found the 7-8's plenty big enough and usually need a belt or adjustable waist for shorts and trousers.

She's 8.5
