cleaning invisalign retainers

Anyone in UK with the vivera invisalign retainers, how do you clean them? I've just started wearing my 3rd set and previous 2 sets became very visible as I could not get them properly clean. I tried just toothbrush and toothpaste and also steradent tablets. I want to look after these ones better.

As I'm on my last set, I would also be interested to hear how it's best to go about getting more when I need to. Can you order more with the records from the treatment rather than having impressions done again and how much does it cost?

I've been using Invisalign braces. Like you, I have cleaned them with toothpaste and a toothbrush, but after I've brushed my teeth - so the toothbrush is nice and foamy. Sometimes, once I've cleaned the 'inside' of the aligner, and properly cleaned my teeth, I put the aligner back in my mouth and clean the 'outside' by just cleaning it as though I'm cleaning my teeth again (if that makes sense).

I've recently bitten through my top retainer (grinding in the night!) and I have had to have a new impression to get a new retainer. My dentist provide a new one quite quickly - they need the impression sent to a lab and then the retainer is moulded from that.
