Gap sizing help

Hi Ladies,

I know some of you shop in Gap so wondered if you could help me with their sizing. I'm looking to buy some tops and usually fit a 14 - 16 but their sizes are M (12-14) or L (16-18) so can you recommend whether their sizes come up big / small and which you would buy.

I think they come up big.

I usually have to get a 12 everywhere else but need a small in Gap.

I got a bit carried away in a Gap Outlet shop on saturday and initially took Mediums in cause Im so used to getting that size but they were really big on me so went for a small.

Got 4 jumpers,2 long sleeved tops and a belt for £90 :-) I had actually gone looking for jeans though!

I agree. And things that don't tend to come up big to start with, tend to stretch. I've been caught out by buying the size that seems to fit best in the shop, only to find it looks like it's gone up a size after I've worn it a while. Especially the jeans. I've stopped getting them in GAP.

i am 14/16 and always get medium in tops, large in jackets and medium or large in bottoms they vary ! the jeans always seem to bag on me, given up with them

Thanks for all your help ladies, I ordered M's, they arrived today and fit perfectly. Really pleased with the quality (thought they were a tad pricey but now I know why and well worth it).
