Makeup Schools

So I did a course at a niche makeup School in "business beauty" the weekend before last. It was supposed to (advertised as) a two hour course with a free gift and 20% product discount, and cost £60.
No free gift, course coordinator didn't seem to know about the discount (was eventually resolved) and the course, which was more of a "look how great our products are" was done in 50 minutes.
Was told it was because there were only two of us doing it rather than the usual six, which doesn't really seem good enough....
Do I complain?
Where else is good for learning about makeup? Would love to do a vintage type course......?
TIA

I'd probably send an email to a head office if I had experienced what you describe.

With regards to learning about makeup, I'd suggest blogs and youtube.
I really like Lisa Eldridge, Pixiwoo, Vintageortacky (she has made some great videos about vintage/pinup type of makeup), Kandee Johnson, Sharon Farrell and Teni Panosian. But there are loads of other people that do great videos!

They generally use a great mix of brands, both cheap and expensive and they are good at describing quite simple, basic things.
