DD's trouser requirement! pls help!

She's 15 and wants a pair which are like a pair she had when she was 6 or 7. Cut like jeans, 3/4 length and with a jersey cuff. Size 8 probably. Not pink.

Aaaaargh! Do they exist? Where? (apart from in an alternative universe, obviously.)

Jux, could she convert an existing pair of jeans? You can buy cuffing in navy, black and a few other colours.

Now, that's an idea, LadyMud! She's a good seamstress, so if we could find the cuffing round here (that's another matter! ).

I wonder though whether the kiddy jeans she had were lighter weight material than normal jeans use. That would make a difference, wouldn't it? Maybe not - I'm not a great sewer myself (that looks really, really odd!).
