anyone else loving their Birchbox?

I am on my 3rd and I have been quite impressed so far.

I was wondering if anyone else was enjoying it as much as I am (or am I the only saddo who gets excited about receiving samples? )

I would love to get birchbox, but can you customise it? I have very dry skin and would hate to waste money on loads of stuff that isn't suitable.

Yes, you fill in a questionnaire about skin type, colouring, etc.

So far everything has been suitable for me.

I used to subscribe to Glossybox and it was fab at first but then seemed like they were taking no notice of the profile i'd filled in with regards to my colouring, skin type etc. and were just sending any old rubbish so I cancelled.

Just looked on the Birchbox site and the contents look pretty good, might be tempted to start again!

I received a lip crayon in the July one that I was a bit disappointed with at first glance but when I tried it on it actually looked great on me even though I wouldn't have gone anywhere near this kind of shade initially. So it does seem that they are paying attention to the questionnaire.

I was another disappointed with Glossybox. This sounds more promising.

OHHHH, I have just switched from birchbox to glossybox! It seemed to me bb was including too many things over and over..twice in the past year I received hair bands, also really did not care for things like tea bags or protein bar.

Is glossybox the same price?

I love Birchbox...I get so excited when it arrives, and have found a few new must-have products.

I had 3 months' worth as a present and I'm not terribly excited by it.

Trills are you not even a little bit giddy when you receive a box full of samples?

Dd is 15 and loves hers - christmas present this year. Dm , 65, wants it too!

Receiving the box and opening it are the best bits. What's inside has so far not excited me.

Someone up thread mentioned a lip crayon. I got two from the covers of magazines in the last couple of months and they were both nicer than the birch box one. Also the name "lip lube" was not very appealing!
