I've been using Revlon as I used to by it duty-free but they are getting old.

What are the best brands, cheap-mid priced?

Sally Hansen.
Super brush.

I actually pour other brand nail polish into a Sally Hansen bottle as the brush is so good

I was wondering about whether it's possible to do that Holly. I'm new to using polish and the Ciate one I used yesterday has a horrible skinny brush. Do you wash the Sally Hansen bottle out with nail polish remover first and just pour the new polish in?

Let's I had a bottle of the Sally Hansen complete salon manicure polish.( nail polish with a fancy name) Wasn't crazy about the colour so emptied it out, swished nail polish remover in it and rinsed thoroughly with warm water.
Worked a treat.
You can keep Essie - I think the brush and consistency is cr*p.
OPI good
Revlon disimproved..
I didn't like the consistency of Nails Inc
Barry M consistency good , but nothing beats the Sally Hansen brush and the colours are good but not what I wanted.

I just bit the bullet and bought an led lamp and the base and top coat -fed up of doing fancy nails and them not even lasting a day! Did mine on Monday and apart from one which popped off -my fault as the gel had gone over the cuticle so I knew it wouldn't last -the rest are still perfect

Thanks Holly I'll do that. Smile
