I splurged on getting a proper salon do yesterday after years of home colouring. I asked for something similar to this pic.

The stylist foiled me up and slathered on dye and when it came off decided it was too light (it was) and my hair was very resistant and foiled and slathered again. I have ended up with almost black hair :-(. I had. Even in the salon for ages and it didn't look quite as dark under the lights.

Should I phone up and ask for them yo Dort it? It was £80!! To have hair I don't like. I have tried to wash it several times is ex I came home with clarifying shampoo to lighten it slightly but yo no avail. Any advice? And will they hate me and bitch about me if I go back in??

Go back! If it's not what you want they should be able to do something with it.

Sorry i phoned up and spoke to the stylist. She tried to fob me off saying it would fade but I stood my ground and she told me to come in so she could look at it.

Do you think they will change it? Or do I have to lump it?

They must rectify it. Stand your ground. I am the queen of unsatisfactory hair colour disasters and always moan if it's not right. Don't go back to the same girl though, she clearly doesn't know what she's doing. Demand to speak to the manager and insist on making an appointment to get her lack of skill sorted. For free naturally.
