I would like these and wonder whether paying full price at £190 is the only option? Help me mumsnet!

I think it is. I live right next to a Ugg Australia outlet shop and they are still the exact same price as they are in the real shop. I think because they never change their style they don't need to gave a sale.

You could try Emu boots instead as they are cheaper. Their website does free international shipping.

MIL went to America in March so I got her to bring me a pair back. Cost the equivalent of £105. Do you know anyone who might be going abroad?

Namechangedforthisohyesidid · 13/08/2014 22:43

YES! Hadn't thought of that. How did you get right size?

Tried them on in a shop first and made a note of the equivalent US size then printed off page from the David Z website with exact specifications of the boots including directions from MILs hotel to the store

Size 7 uk are a 6.5 in UGGS. (fit perfectly.. snug at first then loosen)
I did pay £190 for mine but they are sooooo comfy!

Look at Branch309, they have genuine Uggs cheap as they are ex-display and marked as discoloured but I bought some Bailey Buttons for £50 and they were fine. Also got Toms for £19 and Converse for £30.

IfUSeekAmy · 14/08/2014 10:27

The stock changes all the time though so something on there one day in the right size might be gone the next day to be replaced by something else so don't give up if they don't have the right size or style right away.

They are £129.99 here. I bought some short uggs there last week and they are genuine as I checked on the Ugg website. Free delivery too as they're over £100.

I got a pair of chestnut Emu boots a couple of years ago from M & M Direct. Definitely not full price.

carlywurly · 14/08/2014 20:14

Brand alley or ebay from the USA but be careful to read lots of feedback first and that the price doesn't seem too good to be true. I've had real Uggs at good prices both ways.

Did you get any OP?

Flossiechops · 17/08/2014 15:57

Completely agree with youseekamy another poster on here recommend Branch309 last year. I bought 2 pairs of ex display from them last winter. Short chestnuts for £40 & brown leathery short ones for £35. I also dd some grey ones for £19. They don't seem to have many at the minute but if you wait until winter they seem to have loads. You have to look in the ex display section. An absolute bargain!

Sorry ifuseekamy I meant!
