I placed an order on their website last week - I've bought instore before, but not online. I thought the website was very slow but the order went through and I received a confirmation email.
I didn't receive any further emails so I went to my account today to check if it had been sent out. My account says I have no orders
so I phoned them up. They said that there seems to have been a problem at their end, they're not sure what, possibly that my card was declined, therefore the order has been cancelled. (I checked with my bank, plenty of credit and there was no card decline). They didn't contact me to say they had cancelled the order, just deleted it. It was a reasonable sized order (3 dresses, 2 pairs shoes, + jewellery) so I am a bit surprised that a company would just bin an order like that without bothering to contact the customer. Is this how they usually work?
They offered me 5% off and free delivery if I want to reorder. But to get this I have to re-enter the whole order myself, then I have to email them with the order number to let them know that I was offered the discount, which they will then apply manually. Seriously! Customer service lady was pleasant, but other than that I thought the whole process was a bit pathetic.
I really like the stuff I ordered, but don't think I can be arsed. Have you ordered from their website before? Was it worth it? And are there likely to be other 'issues'?
