In hot pink

I'll be wearing it for my cousin's wedding next month in Germany, so the weather could be hot. Or not…. Confused

I could v easily go down the black heels/black bag route, but feel this is a bit boring.

So: ?silver strappy sandals/silver clutch ??orange for contrast (I may not be brave enough for that) - I have a throw that would pick up the hot pink and has orange and green in it.

Any other ideas?? TIA, oh Style Wise Ones Thanks

Love the colour!

Are you planning on wearing a hat? It is sometimes easier to accessorise around a hat or fascinator.

I wouldn't go for silver with this shade of pink; black or orange would be my choices.

If you don't like to stand out too much then black might be best; orange would be lovely though! :)

I have seen this colour worn with bright purple and looked gorgeous

does this help? I like with orange, or mint green?

PacificDogwood · 12/08/2014 22:33

No, no hat - not the done thing on the Continent thank goodness Grin

I saw a pair of sandals a while ago which combined that shade of pink and orange which got me thinking about that combination. Of course I did not have the dress at the time, so did not buy them and they are now gorn - tragedy!

Thank you for your thoughts, all.

What colour is your hair? Do you have a warm or cool skin tone? I think you are right to avoid black - could be a bit harsh, what about grey or navy? Let me know! x

The pin board was brilliant - thanks, Hebburn: at least I am not totally mad to think about fuchia/orange.

Liz, I have mid-brown hair with golden tones, fair skin, blue eyes.
I'm 48, so really not aiming to look like pimped mutton Grin

Pimped mutton we do not like..... I'd suggest going with the silver/grey
ideas, or Navy - - --but grey with that pink is younger / fresher than the Navy I think. Have a fab time whatever you choose.
