Where is the latest bra intervention thread? I need help

Under my bust, around the back I'm 30 ins; bending over at 90 degrees measuring my boobs I'm 33 ins. So I calculated 30 or 32 C.

Tried on bras today. 32 inches band size felt too tight even on loosest hook. Should I just try 34 in band size (C cup in 32 was perfect)?

I can't help in afraid but i also need it! I measured for first time today and i got 30 under, 38 over. Now that would make 30ff! I'm currently wearing a 32d & yes the cups a bit small but really not that much. Am i missing something??

What bras did you try/which shops?

There is no way you need a 34.

Jellybabyjen - 30FF indeed. You go up 1-2 cup sizes to maintain volume as you drop a band size anyway and you said your cups are a bit small so the 30FF seems like a reasonable starting point.

I tried Infintissimi (sp?), Triumph stores and a Sloggi bra. Going to try Gap, John Lewis & M&S next. Statistically what sizes should I try?

If the 32C fitted in the cup, then try a 30D and DD. I suspect the 32 just felt tight because you're not used to it.

Thank you. Will try tomorrow.

Wow! Well thanks I'll go try some 30ff tomorrow. Sorry for thread jumping Bosh.

I spent most of the day trying on bras on Oxford Street. In the end, found my perfect fit in size 32C in Gap. So comfy - no spillage and band size nice and snug without feeling too tight. Very happy!
