I got my hair highlighted a few weeks ago and I have noticed that it does not seem to be as bright as what it originally was. Can anyone recommend a good shampoo for blonde highlighted hair?
Thanks.

I have coloured blonde hair and strongly recommend the Pureology shampoo and conditioner for bl

You don't ah to actually have hair - mine isn't.

Sorry - wretched phone !

Should have read 'for blonde hair' then gone on to say that the name is something like 'Platinum' but you don't have to have platinum blonde type hair - I don't . It's the one in the white/cream bottle anyway.

Good for bringing out and protecting the colour.

Do you want to knock out yellow tones and lighten a bit?

MaryMarigold · 11/08/2014 19:08

I use a john frieda lilac shampoo twice a week. It worka, although it makes my hair a bit dry.

The Pureology one is called Perfect 4 Platinum.

Also like Aveda Blue Malva to reduce brassiness.

I have platinum blonde hair and I use John Frieda Go Blonder shampoo and the moisturising conditioner normally and the intensive repair hair mask every couple of weeks which I leave in for an hour or so and my hair is in much better condition than it should be! When I had highlights on top of dyed brown hair they kept going really dull because of the colour transferring and the Sheer Blonde range was the best I found! Use the platinum to champagne one even if your blonde is darker.

Thanks for the suggestions. I bought the John Frieda Everlasting Blonde Colour Preserving shampoo and conditioner a couple of weeks ago but I am not sure it is doing any good as IMO my hair seems a bit darker... I will maybe try the John Frieda Go Blonder shampoo and conditioner. Does anyone know where you can buy Pureology Shampoo as I don't think I have seen it in boots?
Foxyharlow123 - yes mainly to lighten it a little and take out those tones.
Thank you.

Yes you can buy the Pureology online - just google. I prefer it to the John Frieda ones personally.

I use Touch of Silver shampoo once a week.
