What nail colour?

Wedding - navy shift dress and shoes. Grey cardi if required. Very natural make up.

I've got good nails, will paint them myself, but what colour? Help - I haven't used anything but clear in years!

Grey, coral, or pale pink.

I'd go for red.

But you can go for taupe, dark or medium grey, pink (I'd go for a colder toned one), dark red/berry, purples or metallic if you prefer.

Red isn't very "me".

I'm intrigued about grey... Not sure I've seen anyone with grey nails... Off to google some images.

I usually wear grey, although currently wearing mint that has had a lot of compliments

I wear that LD one a lot. It goes with everything.

Currently wearing a blue / grey, Minsk by masala, very classy.

I've tried grey/silver nails but I felt they looked a bit dead

My fave grey ever is chinchilly by Essie.

I would go with a pale coral alternating with pale pink. Loads of topcoat.

Personally, I'd go for a more natural, muted shade on my fingernails... but that may be just me. I don't have the greatest nails so I tend not to want to draw attention to them. What are your shoes like? If they are open- toed you could use a bold colour on your toenails? Although from your outfit you could go for any colour... raspberry or plum if you're not so keen on red?

Another vote here for Chinchilly by Essie. Subtle, has a touch of blue in and I find is always admired.

Definitely go grey rather than red, pink, or coral ( none of which are me either). A very pale mint green could work too. If you want something safe but always lovely Essie's Mademoiselle is a perfect just-pink nude.

I really like chinchilly and Minsk. Thanks. I'd never have thought of going grey or grey/blue. I'm wearing silver jewellery so I think that'll work.

I'm sure to end up buying in the airport on our way there so choice will be limited but I'll look for something like one of those two :)

It works well especially if you have v pale skin like me.

I would go for OPI Life gave me lemons but it's probably not to everyone's taste!
