Colour b4

I used colour b4 yesterday on my really dark brown hair it's left the top a brassy colour then half way down is a medium brown.

Now I've heard the brassy is normal but my question is do I need to do another application on the bottom to strip the brown more before I dye it again.

What colour are you changing to spotty?

spottymoo · 10/08/2014 12:58

I'm hoping more a golden brown as that's what my natural colour should be Grin
I've been and got another pack this morning and a dye so I'm hoping I'll look semi decent

That's good, I was hoping you weren't going to make the same mistake I did! Im naturally dark brown and decided to go lighter..big mistake! I also used the color b4 (which was fine) then I stupidly went onto bleach, to cut a llong story short I ended up losing half my lovely long hair. Was a nightmare! Glad you're not going down the bleach route and being a silly mare like me Grin
Good luck!

Oh god have you tried a toner? What about the purple shampoo? I ended up spending a small fortune. .and all because im so impulsive, fancied a change and thought I could be a smart cow and do it all myself! Ha
Go and have one of these Wine

As a friend said to me (when I was crying down the phone with clumps of frazzled hair in my hand) its only hair! so difficult to go lighter by yourself. .its bollocks really. Hope you get what your hoping to achieve!

I remember reading a post from the bloke that developed color b4... He recommended a semi-permanent in Dark Blonde if your hair goes brassy. Something about the hair follicles

Have a google in case my memory is dodgy

It was a dark blonde dye that I used.
Theirs not so much brassiness now as their was yesterday I'm just hoping come the weekend it's sorted
