Face peels help

Hi there style and beauty gurus
I've been have a course of microdermabrasions (8 now) over the last few months usually one a week or every 10 days and it has been quite effective. I have old scars from bad acne and it's lightened quite a lot. So I'm pleased.

I also like the fact that I've not really had down time from it and have done it and gone back to work!

I'd like some advice on peels and whether you think they are better than microdermabrasions or the other way round or whether there's another way forward to reducing scarring or getting rid of them?!

My acne was quite bad when I was in my late teens (roaccutane)!

Thanks in advance.

Hi foxy
Thanks for that! Wow it looks hardcore! Smile I was googling around and found an old thread on bravura face peels (glycolic and salicylic acids). Have you tried either?

Back now and not rushing! Yes, tried them but didn't have much luck. Obagi is hard core and no quick fix but not much shifts scarring other than hard core procedures.

Fraxel? Probably the gold standard for scarring. fraxel.com. Website's not great but have a look and a google. There are a few types but even with the deepest one there's only a few days downtime, and only topical anaesthesia.
