brunette to blonde query

I've been going gradually lighter although currently have serious roots and it's a bit more orangey in tone than I'd like but what should I ask for. I'm fairly pale skinned and naturally mousy Brown with a few greys. I'm 32 with 3 dc and feel old before my time. I don't want platinum blond but what do I want? So scared but feel it's now or never :)

I am npnot a hair dresser so someone more knowledgeable may come along. I was blonde for 10 years though.

Have you had tint on your hair before? If so that is probably what the orangey tone is. You want to be asking for ashy cool toner to be done after your bleach.
