Magazine for a 40 year old man?

My DH is 40 in a couple of weeks and I'm trying to find an appropriate magazine subscription for a family member present. Thought something lifestyle-y / style orientated might be good to give him a boost and not feel old!! Hmm. Any ideas please? He used to be a FHM and Loaded reader circa 1998!!! But now things are very different (serious job, two children,). Would Esquire of GQ be appropriate? Thanks

Would he really appreciate a style type of magazine, or would he feel you are trying to tell him something?

Does he have any interests or hobbies? OH is a bit of a computer geek and has had subscriptions to computer magazines in the past.

DS occasionally gets GQ, he's 21 and likes clothes and shopping etc also it seemed to have articles on people like Harry from 1D which says it all really. I couldn't ever have imagined my DH reading something like that.

He does like hobby magazines though, like Runners World and the cycling ones, so I agree with Bunbaker about an appropriate hobby magazine as DH as always enjoyed these.

Esquire for my DH (40s) good mix of style, technology, wit and the odd tasteful pic of attractive women!

When Saturday Comes is a thinking man's football magazine that's rated in our family.
