Your favourite dress for work...

Inspire me, fashionable S&B types! I'm looking for some lovely dresses. Any colour considered!

I'm need of inspiration for new work wear. I'll be back at work in October after mat leave and looking for a few new dresses. Quite a conservative office and I don't feel hugely comfortable in a super short skirt (though I do have good legs).

Go!

LK Bennett makes the best work dresses. Expensive though.
Cheaper and a little more casual - Phase 8 jersey dresses like

Next do some lovely simple crepe shift dresses for work - washable and just hang - no ironing required. I looked in there yesterday and for Autumn they have them with pockets in nice colours.

Just reading through the rest of the thread. Most of my work dresses are in plain colours - black/navy/neutral - and then I accessorise/wear a coloured cardigan/jacket with them.

I agree on Boden. See if you can find one of their ponte dresses in a shape that suits? They are really low maintenance - sling them in a washing machine and they don't need ironing, comfortable, and if you can get the cut right, super flattering.
