pleather skirt-should I take it back?

I might be having a bit of a mid-life crisis, although I am only 35. :o

I bought a pleather skirt from H&M the other day. It is mid-thigh and quite figure-hugging.

It fits lovely, and I was thinking of wearing it with opaque tights, flat boots and a loose top or chunky jumper.

I showed DH and he looked and asked if I had bought it for the bedroom and proceeded to tell me he isn't really into leather :o

Now I don't normally care what DH (or anyone else) thinks of my clothes because I just wear what I like anyway, but I wonder whether DH might have a point about the skirt looking a bit risqué.

What do you guys think?

It is similar to this one but the zips on mine are diagonal and it looks a bit shorter on me than on the model

It looks awful on the model, her pose, hoiked up boobs, tshirt etc. however I think it could look fab styled as you say

I think it will look great styled as you have suggested....loose top, flat footwear.
