DS is 7months old. I am slowly losing the baby weight but still have around a stone to go but I think at least the same has gone already. my boobs are still the same size though even my band size hasn't really changed. Will I go back to my pre baby boobs or is this them now? tbh I'm quite happy with these bigger boobs!

Hello, are you breast or bottle feeding?

I breastfed and now I have been finished for over a year and am back to my pre-pregnancy weight. My boobs are bigger than before but nowhere near the size they were when pregnant/feeding, also a bit saggier but not too bad, I actually think they look better than before.

Pre pregnancy I was 34a.
Mid pregnancy until I finished feeding I was 36dd.
Now I am 34c or 36b.

HTH!

hi saf he is bottle fed. I have a drawer full of bras in various cup sizes as I was obsessed with wearing the right size while pregnant! I'm wondering whether to get rid of them or not.

Well I chucked a lot of mine and looking back some of the ones I had in early pregnancy would be a perfect fit now. I stupidly assumed I would a) never go back to the same back width and b) my boobs would go back to the same size but actually the opposite has happened.

I did do the right thing throwing out the nursing bras that I could almost fit my head into :)

If you are planning on losing further weight probably best to wait and see what happens after that?

Hello OP
My ds is 6 months and I only have 5lb to lose ...he is ff.....and my boobs still the same size too. I do kind of like them but I have so many nice pre pregnancy bras I would love to wear

cartoontrickster · 07/08/2014 21:00

OP, have you tried measuring following this guide?

cartoontrickster · 08/08/2014 18:48

oh yes I check it regularily especially while I was pregnant I'm a 30inch under boob and 37 over. have been for months. I was more of a 29inch back pre preg and I think didn't get much bigger than a 31inch.

Not everyone gains much in band size - it depends a lot on how you carry the baby and also on torso length - short torso tends to mean the baby is up under the ribs so they flare more.

Mine never went back and my youngest is now 2.9. Was a shame - I bought several pretty new bras a couple weeks before I got pregnant with DS1 and barely got to wear them - just enough to be unable to return them!

Went from 30C to 30FF, practically overnight.

good I was like that started off as a D cup I was buying new bigger bras every couple of weeks, around half way through I switched to them Genie bra type things because normal bras irritated me. plus I couldn't afford to keep buying new ones! Smile
