Pre wedding beauty prep?

according to all the wedding magazines I have been reading I am a bit late to start the pre wedding beauty prep ( I get married 2 months on saturday! ) is it necessary? I have a good skincare routine and deep condition my hair once a week and a regular body brusher, what did you do for pre wedding beauty prep?

Nothing. I turned up on the day and did my own hair and makeup.

Wedding magazines are full of crap to make you spend even more money. I have never seen a bride who didn't look beautiful as love is more attractive than bronzer.

Forgot - Congratulations!

it's all cobblers. Get your hair done nicely as normal - but don't frighten your spouse-to-be with a sprayed-to-death do on the day!

put on a nice outfit, some special jewellery and maybe some brand new knickers. :-)

wishing you the very best.

thanka special subject & kundry, think I just needed some independent confirmation! wedding magazines have gone in the recycling bin...

I just got a few facials as my skin can be a bit clogged etc. Apart from that I body brushed, moisturised, did the usual deep conditioning of my hair, etc. if you want to grow your nails a bit, maybe get a few manicures to get them a bit longer.

Also drinking plenty of water, eating well, cutting down on alcohol, sugar etc did more than any beauty treatment for making me look better.

The magazines are just writing what their advertisers want them too. I was fairly diligent about exfoliating to try to avoid spots in the run up but that was it.
