My skin has never looked better!

I have always had crap skin. Really dry, spotty not helped by the fact that I cannot leave a spot alone and shiny.

I recently started doing the oil cleansing method but tbh I am bone idle and it is a bit of a faff.

Since the school holidays began (2 weeks ago) I have been lurching from day to day. I have completely ignored my face! I either splash it with water each morning or it gets wet in the shower. Nighttime - nothing. Moisturiser - no. I wore make up on one day but still stuck to the water splash only to get it off.

I look great Grin Pores appear tighter. Colour is fresh. Skin is neither dry or oily. No spots. I look really smooth.

Will this last? Anyone else do absolutely nothing? What other beauty chores can I stop doing? not that I do many!

I have always had terrible (oily/dry and very spotty) skin, but 9 weeks ago I started doing the C25K running programme and as a result started drinking tons of water - litres a day as opposed to none at all... Blush. My skin looks amazing - probably a result of me shifting my arse and getting the blood flowing and drinking loads of water! Grin

I have a friend who literally puts nothing on her face but water, she has the most amazing skin. I'd stick with it and see what happens.

Aaah same! I've dropped the whole moisturiser thing, stopped touching my face, and wear no makeup anymore, save for the odd bit of concealer over the remnants of REALLY bad spots.

It's finally clearing up. The rosacea has gone. No more new spots. Amazing!

Maybe the supplements are taking are helping - zinc and Vit B. I can say that UV light has done zilch, which is a bit disappointing (extra freckles and wrinkles for nothing!)

Woohoo replies Grin

I think, for me, the touching my face (to apply products) made me really aware of any spots/bumps/dry patches which led to me dealing with aggravating it. By doing nothing I am unaware of any 'problems' and they sort themselves out.

I'll stick with it then and see how it goes.

Yep, I only wash my face with just water now. I use cheap supermarket own brands make-up remover wipes and moisturiser too. No spots anymore except for the odd hormonal pimple.
I used to spend a fortune on expensive cleaners and moisturisers, but the less I do/spend, the better my skin is, so I'm sticking with it! Smile
