She is so bloody stylish, extremely pretty, her DD is gorgeous and her life (especially the summer just spent in Italy) appears pretty damn perfect. I'm sure it's not really but she does a great job of portraying it as such.

I'm interested to know what her new project is now that she's resigned from Red.

Anyone else seriously envious of her?

Actually I take it back - I may have seen the cream dress via this link Smile

MrsCampbellBlack · 07/08/2014 17:50

Oh dear, i was being bitchy then

lurkingaround · 07/08/2014 18:07

Oh I don't think so MrsCB! If you were being bitchy then we all were. Maybe we were. I'm sure WIT looks back and both cringes and laughs at the episode. It was v funny.

KiKiFrance · 07/08/2014 18:11

I like her, and her blog. I do agree though that it is mainly the fact that she has money that makes her stylish, and that plenty of other women could look as great if they had the money that she does.

I wonder if she has a full time nanny for G-Z as she seems to have lots of childfree time even when she is on holiday

SplatPancake · 16/08/2014 09:44

I love the leather backpack she's been sporting....and also the upcoming family holiday to Tunisia, simply weeks after the month long family break in Italy Shock

Yes, yes I am envious...

SofaCanary · 16/08/2014 15:00

Susie So So and 40Bum are my favourites, mainly cause I reckon they'd be fun to hang out with.

Turquoiseblue · 17/08/2014 09:20

I have found WIT a bit grating at times, but thinking about it who is gonna put your worst moments on a style and lifestyle blog ? I do think if her life is as she blogs she s probably in a bit of a bubble. lucky thing and she now has created an image she needs to maintain. Fashion is insincere and a little superfluous sometimes and it comes across in her blog, but she does love nice things and I still read on.Smile I certainly won't be popping out and spending £40 on a swimsuit for my dd, and the luminous orange tangoed stole thing irrationally disturbed and irritated me clearly gifted and those horrible flats she s really taken with (the ones that look like her feet are trussed up in black string). The constant photos of her 'on her way to work' skipping along merrily. Did anyone notice a recent post on the backpack - where she also mentioned carrying a laptop and tote and a long commute - yet the pic had her swinging an empty backpack grinning, hmmmm. However I do admire someone who makes a go of things themselves and clearly she s cashing in on her brand. It s business savvy and why not ?! And I have gotten some stuff she has linked. I preferred it more when she would blog from a photo shoot about what s coming up next season etc. I do wish she wasn't quite so label conscious - she s all j crew these days.
I like the frugality too.
WIT got a bit repetitive for me.
really enjoying all worn out at the moment.

CambridgeBlue · 17/08/2014 17:04

I still love her style but her budget is so far removed from mine eg when she wanted a backpack but the Stella McCartney(?) one she liked was too pricey she got one from M&S instead - which was £99!

Tbh if you can afford to blog as your main job which a lot of the people mentioned do (not WIT or Frugality) then I think you're probably doing OK for money. I could never afford the amount of clothes they buy even those who are more high street than designer.

So good to hear that so many of you feel the same way as I do. I'm new to mumsnet but am so disillusioned with WIT she's obviously now working with M&S and she has posted about 4 times in the past week. To clarify - press get discounts of around 20% at most stores (excluding some designer stores) in addition she will have a lot of clothes sent to her from press days (like J Crew)
Thanks for tuning me into Londoner - would never have known about it otherwise. At least she discloses who she's sponsored by!

Pinkfrocks · 21/08/2014 10:54

who is she?

KristinaM · 21/08/2014 11:57

Google is your friend , pink frocks

Pinkfrocks · 21/08/2014 12:13

oh I know- I just couldn't be arsed :)

Waaahhhay there, that s a bit too personal. Fair enough commenting on the blog and it s attributes and the direction it s taken but none of us know her personally. IMHO that s a bit harsh.

dexter73 · 28/08/2014 19:28

I've reported your post hja as I think that is quite a personal dig at WIT.

MrsCampbellBlack · 28/08/2014 19:31

I reckon she's auditioning for Victoria's Secret with the bikini shots!

hja281 · 28/08/2014 19:31

OK - I apologise - given some of the comments crossed out above I thought this was fair game but accept your point. I do not know her personally and am only guessing - tbh I cannot see the above is any worse than the comments about poor Alex from the Frugality - whom I do not know either - but whose blog I like a lot better - she admits to getting ill, and seems a little more real to me - but each to their own I guess.

CambridgeBlue · 28/08/2014 19:33

Blimey hja that's a bit much. None of us know LF (or do you?), this was just a post commenting on her professional persona. I look at the pics and like the images and then go and live my own life, maybe you should give that a go, you sound a bit too invested in this.

CambridgeBlue · 28/08/2014 19:34

There have been a LOT of bikini shots recently though!

What was so harsh about the comments re Alex? I don't think anyone was being personal were they?

dexter73 · 28/08/2014 19:36

They did say her dog was fat!

dexter73 · 28/08/2014 19:37

Or was that the other blog thread?

WipsGlitter · 28/08/2014 21:51

Can I just have a wee rant about what I bought today. Another "stylist" (wtaf) who has been able to give up work to get freebies blog full time. It's sooooooo badly written. She used the word super a million times in her most recent one. And it's just pure plugs for stuff.

WipsGlitter · 28/08/2014 21:53

OMG just saw the prices for the juice cleanse - £80 for one days juices??? That's a lot of pricey organic veggies. Super yuminess not withstanding.

Greengardenpixie · 28/08/2014 22:14

who?????????
