I was wearing Jo Malone's Ginger & Nutmeg once, which I love and which costs rather a lot, and someone said 'ooh, you must use the same washing powder as my Mum!'

Hmm

That's the closest I can get to fabric conditioner!

NoArmaniNoPunani · 02/08/2014 18:54

Jo Malone?

NoArmaniNoPunani · 02/08/2014 18:54

Xpost :)

Febreze!

Greengardenpixie · 02/08/2014 18:58

er febreze lol!!! Jo malone sounds good!!

pootlebug · 02/08/2014 18:59

I was going to suggest Philosophy too.

Greengardenpixie · 02/08/2014 19:04

Is there a particular of philosophy?
You see i get totally pissed off with the same old bloody scents. They just all smell a bit samey??? I reach for one when i have been out and about and it always smells like one i know!! I want a scent that is unusual er not febreze but in an addictive way that you just want to keep on smelling it!!

It's been a few years since I last wore this and they seem to have added to the range, but these perfumes smell of laundry! www.beautybay.com/_/N-?Ntk=All&Ntt=clean&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial

Sorry, I don't know how to do a clicky link. ??

GingerLemonTea · 02/08/2014 19:25

My addictive scents aren't fresh, they are quite distinctive....

Jo Malone - Pomegranate Noir
Penhaligons - Elixir
Tom Ford - Black Orchid

Greengardenpixie · 02/08/2014 19:27

Thank you for that :)
I dont know the fancy way to post a link but i just copy and paste the address from the browser bar at the top into the box. its that simple!

The Philosophy amazing grace, or one if their grace ones - they smell 'babyish' and soft.

I'm not sure where you can buy Demeter fragrances in the UK, but I bet they do something that fits what you want too.

NightOwl17 · 02/08/2014 19:40

Next do a really nice one called Cashmere that is really like fabric softener. I've had lots of different people ask me what fabric softener I use when I'm wearing this. It's not expensive at all.

Greengardenpixie · 02/08/2014 19:43

I looked up the philosophy range..but do they last? ..and are they all lemony? I do like a lemon scent but i dont want something that smells like an eau de cologne if you get my drift.

OP posts:
Greengardenpixie · 02/08/2014 19:44

Nightowl..does the cashmere one last though? I have had next perfumes before and find that they fade really quickly on me.

OverAndAbove · 02/08/2014 19:45

Yes I came on to say Philosophy but have been beaten to it. The Grace ones are lovely; not lemony but definitely fresh-laundry-ish

Greengardenpixie · 02/08/2014 19:48

Which one is the best one to get then? I have had a look at the reviews and i am not sure?

OP posts:
GingerLemonTea · 02/08/2014 20:08

Not sure which is which, larger Boots stores stock it if you can get to one.

hoedown · 02/08/2014 20:12

Bobbi Brown Bath is gorgeous

NightOwl17 · 02/08/2014 20:15

No it doesn't really. That is the downside but saying that, I can never smell perfume on myself so not sure how it lasts compared to others. Not very helpful I know. Sorry!

Greengardenpixie · 02/08/2014 20:27

Ooooh Hoedown that sounds like it smells delicious!!
Thats the thing with me too Nightowl, i can never smell them on me either but i love perfume that lingers on clothes and when you lift an item up you can smell the faint smell of a lovely perfume you had on and it smells even lovelier.

Greengardenpixie · 02/08/2014 20:34

Has anyone tried bobbi brown party? Its meant to be gorgeous [despite the name]
