If you have one would you recommend? Nothing really takes my fancy online as they do look quite dull! I don't need to carry a laptop but I do have a small 7 inch tablet, a4 paperwork, note pad, pens, camera and calculator.

What would you recommend.

I use a leather laptop tote loads of inside pockets - great for men I have to have an organised bag! smart for work but acts as my daily bag too, large enough for everything without carting a suitcase about. Ease of access to wallet, passes, keys, phone etc.

Briefcases are ok but if you have to put them down to get your wallet out or carry a hand bag too.

A zatchel?

Zatchels don't have enough pockets but thank you. Looking at totes and found a few but nothing I love.

I have a Knomo bag they are brilliant for laptops and A4 folders. Loads of compartments.

I use the modalu Pippa in black croc and it holds plenty of a4 paperwork, tablet etc plus my wallet, make up etc too . Looks much nicer than a laptop bag/briefcase

I have a modalu pippa. It's not big enough for the folder with paperwork. Saw knomo bags earlier and have bookmarked some.

The Kipling Super City bag is very practical and comes in a few different colours. Some of the styles are cheaper on Amazon.

polyhymnia · 03/08/2014 17:30

I have the Kipling Super City and have found it fantastically spacious but light with lots of useful compartments. Have been using it for teaching job and it was ideal as took loads of papers to mark, text books etc.

If you are in an office environment , though, you might prefer leather.

Not a fan of the Pippa myself because find the metalware too 'gold' and bling, but that's just a question of personal taste.
