stretch marks

Is there anything to be done?

I have terrible stretch marks both from pregnancy and from weight gain.

I'm not bothered about the ones on my tum really, but the ones on my armpits are bad and put me off wearing sleeveless stuff.

Is there anything that helps.

By all accounts, no-sorry. They will fade in time and be less obvious though. It helps to keep skin moisturised but anything will do (specific lotions and potions are sadly unproven). If really bad/ you feel especially conscious, you could use a body make up to disguise them? Pretty sure Mac does a face and body foundation. X

You can get them lasered, although this is not a cheap or pain-free option. The sooner you get them done, i.e. the redder they are, the better the results.
