Calluses on hand from rings: help!

I wear rings on the third and fourth fingers of both hands, every day. My wedding ring never comes off, but I take the others off overnight. However I drive a lot and have got calluses at the top of my palms. How do you go about removing dead skin from your hands? Should I use my foot file on them (lightbulb moment)? I do keep them pretty well moisturised.

Any thoughts?

Oh I have a callous too at the top of my hand from my rings.
We must be princesses really with such sensitive skin
That's probably how, in the past, 'fortune tellers' knew whether you were married or not even if you took off your rings before you went in.

I'd use a pumice-stone instead of a foot file!
