Bag for hand luggage

Hi
Can anyone recommend a bag to use as hand luggage - just a short haul flight. I don't want anything massive as am travelling with two children. DS has his own back pack but DD is only 18 months so doesn't get a luggage allowance. I like Kipling bags cos of all the compartments but the ones I usually take are too small for my few bits and DDs paraphernalia. Can anyone recommend anything?! Would like a shoulder style one really.

If you like Kipling have a look at the Kipling city backpack. Comes in lots of colours. I used it as hand luggage on a recent trip. Was great to have hands free and it has lots of useful compartments including a zip on the back...so against your back when you have I on..that safe for purse etc.
