Thinking of treating myself to one of their Too Hot to Handle bags. Anyone have one and are they worth the money?

I have the too hot to handle hobo in black and I love it. I recently got it off the saks website at 25 percent off so can't comment yet on durability but its really nice. it's not a zip at the top though its magnetic enclosure. I was going to get the hobo hillier or the Natasha before I decided on the too hot to handle but once I tried them on, thought the too hot to handle was better on me. There is also a tote version, which I felt was slightly more formal. The hobo version is less structured so I feel I can wear either at the weekend or for work.

I have the Too Hot To Handle mini shopper and I love it. I have had it for nearly two years, I think, and it still looks like new.

I have quite a few MBMJ bags, although not from the Too Hot range, all fab thick smooshy leather and wear beautifully. Sometimes the seasonal ranges use cheaper stiff leather but in general I think it's excellent value if you buy in sales. And the zips and hardware are always excellent quality, I have ore expensive bags that haven't lasted as well.

Thanks all - hoping to either get a hobo or a drawstring bucket bag. Will have to save for a bit! Is Saks a good place to buy from? Or Bloomongdales or any others?

I just bought from saks as there was a 25 percent off, and they calculate duty at checkout so no hidden costs but I am based in North America. there are usually sales around the holidays in the us. if you are in Uk though I am not sure what would happen with online returns if you weren't happy - perhaps would be expensive to return? I saved for a long time, it was worth it!

I have two Natashas, great leather and holding up well. I bought mine from Monnier Freres, they often have discounts.

It's definitely worth waiting and buying at sale time. Then use Shopstyle to type in the name of the bag, and it'll show stockists and prices. You've just missed the June sales so if you can bear to wait til January, do that. Worth it to save 50% or more. Otherwise Vestiaire is worth a look, also Farfetch. Just remember if it's a US site to factor in tax and shipping so prices not quite as good as they first appear, and if you need to return items it's a major cost and faff if to US.
