clever perfume people- dior help?

I tried a perfume in the dior shop in Covent Garden and have fallen in love...

It's called gris montaigne. Can anyone tell me a) how much it is? B) where else I can get it? And c) why I like it so much and if there's an alternative?

I also like balanciaga's florabotanica and narciso Rodriguez plus most of juillette has a gun if that helps narrow my preferences at all?

It's from Dior's Collection Privee. I am not a clever perfume person but I wear their New Look 1847, from the same collection. The only place I've seen it for sale is Selfridges in London.

It's quite expensive, as perfume goes, I think £165 for the smaller size bottle. But the quality is supposed to be a cut above the usual edp.

I wonder what might be similar then but a bit less...I do have a lot of perfumes so would feel a bit guilty spending that much...but we'll see!!

Well the people who staff the Dior concession at Selfridges are lovely and knowledgeable. They will definitely be able to talk to you about the notes in it and arm you with information to go and chat to other counters on the hunt for something similar. But if you love it, you love it!
