Has anyone used this? If so what colour was your hair to start with and what did it end up?

I've not used silver but I used to use rubine, plum, a blue one and some pinks. They invariably required my dark blondey/light browny (OK, mousey Angry ) hair to be bleached first orcelse they just didn't take well.

It's supposed to work brilliantly on bleached hair and is what all the teens were using when the grey hair thing was in fashion for them.

Should really help the transition.

I'm gritting my teeth through mine as I am growing out dyed dark hair . When it gets to two inches I'm whacking all the blorange off. Can't wait for all the dye to be gone as the colour coming through is lovely.

I used it last year. My hair was bleached, then with this was pure white

I also used directions to make purple and pink pastel hair when the silver got boring. Looked great with my pixie crop :)

It's blue when you use it, don't be alarmed!

My mum has used it and it was rubbish, she gets more results from just using silver shampoo.

Directions have recently changed their formulas and a lot of people are very unhappy with the new colours. I used Plum last year when I ran out of my normal purple dye (Manic Panic) and it came out blue. Proper blue, not just "blurple". In my case it was actually a happy accident as I've since been able to go properly blue/turquoise using MP dyes but not great for anyone who actually wants purple.

The silver in the Pravana Vivids range is supposed to be excellent.

I used it on my bleached hair about 6 months ago. It had no impact whatsoever- so disappointed. I googled and followed the instructions to the letter. Tried it again a couple of days later. Still nothing. Had better results with silver shampoo from Sally's

Oohhh now I don't know what to do

It is very short atm, a number 2 up the back, and cut really short at the, sides, so it shouldn't take long to grow the bleach out. I'm just impatient Hmm

There is a grey toner from Wella called silver lady that should do the trick.
