Soft lip pencil?

I have a minor allergy to lipstick / balm - I think paraffin based.

So, I've established that pencils seem to work - so I'm looking for a soft pencil that I can use over the whole lip.

Colours are not totally relevant obviously - I'd love to go red, but in reality soft pinks/heather colours work better with my colouring.

Any suggestions?

I like the Mac lip liner pencils - I often use them all over the lips.

You could also have a look at Clinique - their products are usually good for sensitive skin and they are supposed to have a good return policy for when a customer has a bad reaction to one of their products.

How about the liquid lipstick products that are on the market - could they potentially work for you? Guerlain, YSL, OCC, Stila, Revlon and other brands have them. I haven't tried them myself - it's just an idea :)

No to liquid, still brings me out in cold sores.

I am very fussy about liners and so when I recommend something you can be sure it's good I've just discovered the Essence range in Wilkos -don't laugh it's FANTASTIC! Lovely liners for less than 2 quid but I'd happily pay a tenner they are so good.

No Wilkos up here sadly; may sent MIL out if it's that good though!

I always go back to The Body shop ones.Very soft,though I don't know if they contain parrafin.

Rimmel do a nice one. It's a twisty-up stick one called Tiramisu and apparently it's a dupe for Mac Spice.
