Bra size help urgently needed!

Hi all I desperately need a new bra and can't for the life of me work out my size. I measure 35cm under the bust and my overbust measurement is 46cm standing up and 48cm if I lean forwards and dangle! I have been wearing a 36HH from M&S but it's not very comfy. I would like a full cup style that pulls me in a bit at the sides so things look a bit more...up. Help please!!! Thanks so much.

OK, size wise your measurements suggest a 34H/HH or a 36GG/H. M&S sizing is different unless it's very recent as they skip some of the double letters.

Can you look at your boobs and try to work out whether they are:
Fuller on top or bottom?
Close set or wide set (gap in the middle)
Wide or narrow root (so how wide is the base of each boob, do they do round under your armpits?)
High or low set (are they very close to your armpits height wise or is there more of a gap?

Hi there, thanks so much, they are quite rounded really, I guess they are wider apart, they do go round under my arms (especially when I lie down lol). I think they are fuller underneath but if I wear a good bra I have quite a bit of cleavage, and although they are lower than my armpits I don't think they have drooped too much. I have quite narrow shoulders and am very short waisted. Very much hourglass shape. My M&S bras are quite old and sad. I am longing to look a bit perter. I don't tend to like balconette bras as I always feel I am bubbling out at the top, I prefer a full cup. Thanks for your help.

I suspect that you might have not had a big enough cup in balconettes - especially if M&S were involved :)

Balconette shapes are quite good for fuller on bottom breasts as you don't get issues with gaping at the top i.e. where you fill the bottom of the bra but not the top section. This is most commonly problematic with moulded cups as they just don't adjust to your shape. However as you're not hugely bottom heavy you should find balconies and full cups ok in general although it varies hugely between bras.

For wider boobs, you might like Freya and Fantasie. Bravissimo own brand are sometimes good for this shape too - the Alana is popular, I'm a big fan of Betsy Bow and they do loads of others too. Freya and Fantasie I suspect you will want the 34, Bravissimo own brand is a bit more variable so I'd suggest trying both from them.
