Which do find is better and stays put better?

I don't usually wear eyeliner as it's one of those things that I always thought I could never do. But I went make up shopping the other day and visited the Bobbi Brown counter where a gel eyeliner was used on me. I liked the look and foolishly parted with my cash...

It's fab! I can do it with no trouble at all and it stays put all day. I had it on for at least 12 hours today and have only just taken it off - its not budged all day. It's this one in a pot

I use Loreal eye pencil, but end up with panda eyes by the end of the day. It generally happens with whatever brand pencil I use but my hands are too shaky for liquid liner!!

Gel is best, try the new benefit one ("they're real push up
liner"), it's really good, stays put forever and really easy to apply

I would say liquid stays put much better.

I use the Bobbi Brown gel one too. It is also available in a tapered felt pen type thing which is handy

The gel eyeliiners are lovely, they are as dramatic as Liquid liner and last longer than Pencil liners, Good Luck

As someone who has loved and done black eyeliner for the last 20 years gel eyeliners are the best thing ever!! They are easy peasy to put on. They can be dramatic and sharp like liquid or soft and smudgy like a pencil (just use less and do fluttery strokes). They last for ages. My current pot has lasted for over a year. I first used maybelline which was great as it NEVER smudged even after 12 hours. Now I'm using L'oreal which does hasn't the same staying power but I can't be bothered to buy more.

I love gel eyeliner too.

I love urban decay 24/7 pencil eye liners. I've never mastered liquid ones and they kind of irritate my eyes, although I think the effect with liquid is probably nicer and cleaner than with pencil. I guess gel could be the best of both worlds.

I used to use matte black eyeshadow and a damp angle brush but I've recently had a revelation that eyeliner doesn't suit me and I look much better slept when I don't wear it!

I always did pencil on bottom lash line then benefit lady put the new they're real liner on top lashes and left bottom bare and I love it- everyday and dressed up it is so easy. Sound like a marketing post but honestly it's brilliant!

The Maybelline gel that comes in a cardboard box with a little brush is great. Lasts forever on even oily lids and the brush is great too.
