hairstyle rut

I have messy wavy hair that I normally straighten but it ends up looking really flat at the top of my head. I haven't had it cut for quite a few months and when straight its bra band length. Can you share some ideas for a fresh new cut? Not something mumsy, I have two toddlers and am turning 29 next month so something young would be great! Need some inspiration to take to the hairdressers.

Oooh.

No help, but I'm in a similar predicament.

Mine is thick and wavy and half way down my back.

Baby and 3 year old and I'm 33.

I keep toying with the idea of a fringe but hairdressers put me off for some reason!

don't have a fringe! my hair sounds similar to both of yours , although is curly rather than wavy. i had a fringe a few months ago and have regretted it! it goes fuzzy in every type of weather, it never sits right and it needs trimming every 5 minutes - don't do it!

Hmm Yazzy and Norfolk, sounds like we share the same hair. Also in a bit of a rut. Want to go short but don't quite dare. Shall watch with interest (and hope!)

I've got the same hair but I'm too lazy to straighten it. So no help really.

I keep threatening a shorter 'do' when I lose a stone.

I've been threatening for a while Wink

What's in these days? Shoulder length? Long? Short?
