Strapless bra when pregnant

I'm delighted to be a bridesmaid for a friend in a few weeks. I'll be about 27 weeks pregnant. Usually 36 D/DD, now 38/40 F ish. The bridesmaid dress is asymmetric, with just one strap so I need a strapless bra (I think). Problem is I've always found strapless bras pretty uncomfortable so will, I'm sure, only wear this new bra for one day. It seems a shame to spend £30 on something I'll only wear once. I don't think I have another option, do I?

Another bridesmaid is having see-through straps but I'm not a fan. What do people think of these? I always thought they looked a bit tacky but they might have improved in the last 15 years, since I last looked. If they are good now, that would be a much better option for me because I imagine they'd be more comfortable so I'd wear it again.

Try the Fantasie Smoothing strapless bra. I wore when pg and was great.

See through straps look silly IMHO. Are you sure of your size? Wouldn't have thought you would go up 2 back sizes at 27 weeks. Have you measured according to advice on here?
