What should I buy?

I have just had a baby and have £200 to go shopping tomorrow for some summer clothes. I am just going to my nearest (smallish) town and will have the baby in tow so don't want to be ages so I was hoping that you lovely style and beauty ladies might be able to give me a nudge in the right direction.

I am currently a size 20 with v chunky thighs/bum and a bit of a baby belly. I am 5'6 with long dark hair and green eyes.

Local shops available are: Debenhams, m&s, bhs, primark, new look, matalan, Asda and next.

I am useless at this sort of thing!

I would buy:
A couple of pairs of linen trousers in dark colours (black/brown/navy etc)

• next would be my first port of call for these but a lot of places stock them at the moment

Some loose, wide leg summer trousers from matalan - these are viscose and patterned and I love them I have four different pairs

Some vest tops in colours that suit you/go with the trousers - again matalan has some good quality long vests for around £4 each, although there will be loads in other shops too.

A couple of light weight cardigans

If you like dresses (I don't!) a couple of tea dresses/similar. Again matalan had some nice ones in.

I think the key is to figure out the colours you want to go for and buy so most/all things coordinate.
