Dove conditioner. Gorgeous.

I normally buy expensive shampoo and conditioner because I've got middle-aged hair that needs lots of love and attention. But I used Dove conditioner the other day, and it's terrific: rich and amazing. My hair feels glossy and smooth and the smell is delightful. It's the best thing I've used for years.

Hopefully you all know about it.

I agree, lovely stuff and cheap too. I use the one for coloured hair.

I tried some at my mums and thought it was great BUT hate their advertising with the real women = women with low self esteem patronising rubbish so try to avoid buying dove but gave been seriously tempted to buy the conditioner

I love the Pro Age one, borrowed my mums and now I am converted

Mrsgrumble · 15/07/2014 21:07

Is this the second advertisement of the evening?

nutdust · 15/07/2014 21:08

is this another frigging ad?! (see nivea in shower thread)

Belloc · 15/07/2014 21:51

Ha ha ha. It's not an ad. Just sharing. It's a really good and very cheap conditioner.

Dove makes me itch like mad !

sharingeverythingtwice · 15/07/2014 21:55

Wait until you get greasy patches of hair that you can't seem to wash clean, only thng dove has ever done for my hair.

Belloc · 16/07/2014 19:22

Patches of hair or greasy patches of scalp?

I'm still using Dove and it's lovely.

Greasy sections of hair, the product can really build up and become impossible to wash out, so if you love dove I'd be tempted to wash your hair with something really cleansing every so often, just to strip the product build up out.

Oly4 · 16/07/2014 20:07

I love dove too

Nevertriedapickledegg · 16/07/2014 20:21

sharing I got that too using Dove - greasy roots (about 2 inches worth) that would not wash out even though I shampooed several times! It felt terrible and looked limp and stringy as though it hadn't been washed.

Awful stuff.

flippinada · 16/07/2014 20:23

I've used dove for years and never had the greasy patches thing.

I do swap it out with other products occasionally so maybe that's why.

ZenNudist · 16/07/2014 20:30

Dove products are just bog standard. I don't see why anyone would rave about them.
