WTVF has happened to Mango sizing?

Seriously. I've always accepted that Mango, especially their jackets, comes up v v small. In fact I think about ten years ago I actually had a suit jacket from there in a 16 when I was a 12 everywhere else. I just went "lalala" and stuck my fingers in my ears.

So I was thrilled when last autumn I bought a stunning little jacket from there in a size M. Admittedly I'd lost weight and was more of a 10 everywhere else, but still, a M in Mango - woot!

Last week I ordered another lovely little Chanel-a-like jacket in the sale, again size M. Have lost a tiny bit more weight over the past year, so now maybe an 8 bottom almost everywhere, but still a 10 top in lots of places.

Fuck me! I was swamped. The shoulders were way too big but the waist (even given the boxy cut) was just vast. They've completely moved the goalposts.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes, it's gone mahoosive. Ridiculous.

True. I ordered some tops in Asos sale and it advises you on their website to size up. I did and they were huge so went back.

I was just saying this to my sister

Ordered some stuff on JL sale. I am an 8/xs in tops nut got a S in Mago as I've always sized up, they were huge! Even the xs would have been too big.

On ASOS it still says this brand comes up small so it is advised to go up a size.

Sorry plentyofshoes, just repeated what you said.

Sorry if this is a daft question..but they've launched a plus size range, the jacket isn't from that range by any chance?

I got caught out too recently as I usually order a size L (I am a curvy 12 on top) and the two jackets that I ordered were rather large. I ended up keeping them as I convinced myself that a size M would be too small, I should really have changed them as they make me look bulky. I think I will go into a shop next time and try things on before buying.

Phew, glad it's not just me! Not the plus size range, no.
