Easiest false lashes?

Help! I'm going to a 60s theme party at the weekend and need some lashes to oomph up my eye make-up. Which are the easiest brand to put on? Do I need to get better lash glue than the stuff in the box? And are the pre-glued ones brilliant or useless? I've watched the Lisa Eldridge tutorial a few times but she makes everything look so easy it sort of doesn't actually help...

Advice from experienced lash-wearers much appreciated!

[flutters lashes hopefully]

I followed the guide Lisa Eldridge did on individual lashes and it really is as simple as she made it look.

I have only used the individual ones, but I like the Revlon ones. The Revlon glue is great - it dries clear and is easily removed with an oil based eye makeup remover.

I've heard good things about Ardell lashes and Duo glue.

I use the Eyelure brand. You can get all sorts of lengths from natural looking to very long and dramatic.

I'd recommend the Eyelure glue but the one that you buy separate and not the little tube that comes with it.
It's blue in colour but dries clear, use a cotton bud to apply the glue and leave it to go tacky.

Put a mirror on your knee and look down as you apply the lash, start at the inner corner, you might have to cut the lash to fit before you apply.

Brilliant, thank you - that's really helpful! I guess it's just a case of getting some and practising. I did have a go with some individual Ardell ones a while ago, Carpaccio, but they stuck and funny angles and made me look weirdly owl-like...
