Hair clip suggestions please

I have a chin length bob and am in the process of growing out my fringe. I have just enough length to now pin it back underneath the longer lengths.

At the moment I'm using Kirby grips but I have a night out with work and a wedding coming up. I fancy something a little prettier but am 41 so don't want to look like a numpty either.

Suggestions please!

I'm a similar age to you and have just bought a few bits and pieces to keep my hair out if my face on holiday. I bought Scunci barrettes and hair grips from Pretty Pieces after a recommendation from a MN-er.

How about:

Any good?

The oval ones look good, thanks!
For the wedding, I was wondering whether I could get away with a clip with a bit of bling on it? Say a sparkly flower or the like?

I can't post a link because I can't find any!

I thought it could take the place of a hat or a fascinatior is that what they are even called?!
