Printed trousers - yes or no??

Hi - Just bought Bistro Crop Trouser from Boden in summer floral (not sure how to link on iPad!). They are lovely but undecided whether to keep or not as not sure how to style them. I would wear a block colour top such as navy or grey but a friend reckons I need to match one of the shades in the trousers. Am not into matching! Advice needed please!

I'm not sure which trousers you got but I would go with a neutral top as you said. Picking out a colour from them pattern will look incredible old fashioned. I love printed trousers by the way:)

it is a free country and you should wear what you want. But I'm afraid I also find them hilarious.
