Hairdressers in Cardiff

I'm attending a wedding in Cardiff later in the year. I'd quite like to have my hair done in the morning, can anybody recommend a good hairdresser in Central Cardiff?
Don't get me started on what I'm going to wear. Baby no. 2 was born earlier this year and I'm bfing ... I have no idea what suits my new shape, or even what shape I'll be in a few more months.

If you don't mind £££, the Sassoons salon there is fab.

Can recommend Ocean on Bangor Street.

Not quite in the centre.but a short and cheap cab ride away, about £5. Central salons can be v expensive and not so good.

I go to Ocean and love my hair and what they do to it.

Hair Lounge on Wellfield Rd are excellent. Ian is brilliant at cutting and blow drying. They also have a stylist (can't remember her name) who is brilliant at putting hair up. They are busy so you would need to book well in advance.

Aveda Bauhaus (on a side street next to Howells) is very good and not overly expensive.

Depends what you want to spend. In the town centre I'd go for kamigata downstairs in St Davids 2 (next to John Lewis) or a little hairdressers called Air-hed, opposite the chapel near to Churchill way. Much cheaper but they are Fab with up do's.

I had a terrible experience with Air-Hed. Have heard very mixed things about them across the board.

They didn't do anything wrong to my hair, didn't do anything at all. They kept me waiting 45 mins after my (booked) apportmemt was meant to start, so I left.

That's rubbish. I've not used them. Just seen a million pictures of prom hair hair do's they have done recently.
