haven't worn them since a child , probably why i have crows feet ! no idea what would be 'in' or fashionable and would like to avoid looking a complete twerp in them if at all possible .
would like to browse in shops but failing that might have to order some to try online .
any recommendations please ?

Why don't you try a load on and take selfies to post on here, or on your profile?

There's no way anyone could advise until we know what you look like.

Fwiw, I would never, ever order sunglasses online. TK Maxx often have quite a good range.

I wear ray ban wayfarers, I think they are a classic shape that would suit pretty much anybody and they look cool! Have had mine for years so a good investment.

I wear Oakley Straight Jackets. I love 'em. They have root beer (brown) lenses but colours are still visible, all the glare is taken away. They were a Christmas present from DH - one of my best ever pressies.

It depends on your budget. New look have some lovely aviator style ones for £5 and things like floral wayfarer style ones.

John Lewis, m&s and next have a good range of more classic styles for around the £20 mark.

Branded ones that are reasonable are Ray ban you can get some really nice ones for about £100 and they last for ever as long as you are careful with them. Proper designer wise I like chanel or marc jacobs. You'll be looking around £200 for those.

I wear sunglasses all year round if there's sun as I hate squinting and it gives me a headache.
