Flat sandals

Help I'm rubbish
I have an ankle length maxi dress from h and m for a wedding.
Are pretty flat sandals ok to wear.
Im not an important guest.

I would if they are relatively dressy- foam/plastic flip flops-no, but a nice strappy pair would be fine.

I never wear heels to anything any more, just can't be bothered with the faff and sore feet.

I hate heels.

I think maxi dresses look awful with heels. They definitely need flat (or low heeled) shoes. Go for it!!

Flat sparkly sandals perfect with a maxi.

And you are an important guest or you wouldn't be invited
