Lets talk about our weird mutant hairs ...

You know the ones that grow in strange places or are fucking MASSIVELY long unnecessarily.

I have a fine white eyelash that is a third longer than my other ones. Why? Where the fuck did it come from and why is it a totally different animal to the others, like a cat hair or something. I also have one hair that sprouts above my nipple occasionally. Doesn't come right back again once plucked which is odd.

My partner has a hair that sprouts from the top of his nose that I have to pluck

I'm 23 and have random hairs
Am I going to be a gorilla when I'm 40?!

I have a group of hard wire like hairs that I can feel inside my skin that are really quite long on the inside.
I get dh to pull them out with tweezers - they're v stubborn and need really wrenching out!

Dh gets a really long hair on his chest but it mingles with all the other chest hair - only noticed it a few years ago as it glinted and I thought he was getting grey chest hair! It's almost see through and the first time we found it it was about 4 inches!!!

I'm 38 and have started with the random hairs everywhere. Top lip! Not a full moustache just one or two dark hairs to the side of my mouth.

I have one that appears overnight on my inner thigh half way up and another black one on my forearm.

Nothing them suddenly bam 2 random mutant long, black, thick hairs. I'm 39 and have had them for years - not had them for a while, I'm on high alert

sebs I have the same mutant eyelash. It doesn't stop growing, I trim it once a week with DH's Leatherman. I'm rather relieved I'm not alone.

I had one that grew under the surface of my skin for a couple of inches. Some sort of weird tunnelling hair. It was a beast to get out!

Also a black under-chin hair which sprouts out of nowhere overnight.

And I'm afraid I have inherited the very strange finger hairs between my knuckle and finger tip. Almost no one has hairs there but I do

Otherwise my body is not very hairy!

Love this thread. I used to have a fine blonde one that grew on the inside of my left elbow during my twenties. I used to love that hair. Think the root's died though because I've not seen it for years.

I have one coarse needle like pube hair that grows out of the side of my face. If I don't pluck it will itch like crazy! I also have a similar one on my inner thigh that just feels so odd.

Am laughing. I have these. They are so wierd, aren't they?

I have fairly dark red hair, and my eyebrows are mid brown. But every now and again I get a long, curly eyebrow hair and it is always red so really stands out!

I have a few weird chin ones, they seem to move around. Also a neck one and some on my cheeks that I always forget about until I see it and it's an inch long.

I'm only 27

I've had a random long fine black hair since my twenties, 3 inches under my belly button. Quite fond of this and never pluck.
But I have a coarse chinny one that gets plucked IMMEDIATELY.
Nipple hairs also. Also plucked.
